Tealham Moor - Sun 22 May

After our trip to Ham Wall we drove up to Tealham Moor seeing around five Cattle Egrets during our stop, some of which flew right past us. Another Cuckoo was heard singing and a Lapwing was carefully guarding her four well grown chicks. Both Meadow Pipits and Skylarks were noted and a Sedge Warbler was singing from a roadside ditch. The pick of the birds though were three Yellow Wagtails and a male Channel Wagtail.
So after a really enjoyable and profitable few hours out it was time to head back home. It certainly made a nice change to do some birding away from Sutton Bingham.
