A flying visit on the way home from work at lunchtime today produced a Great White Egret on West Pool.

Nothing else of note, which is par for the course at present.

Sutton Bingham year list for 2024 now at 65 species.

Tim Farr: Well here it is, my blog! I'm a keen birder and have been since I was a little kid and was given YOC membership for Christmas one year. Following on I got well in to Birds of Prey and Owls and my interest grew from there. I now have over 400 species on my UK list and have been known to stray from the SW in the pursuit of rarities! Nowadays I stay closer to home and concentrate on Sutton Bingham Reservoir instead of the more manic pursuits of my youth!
