Not a lot to report of late, though a Skylark was in full song over the Canoe Club yesterday and was a patch year tick. Other bits and pieces of late have included a few Sand Martins passing through, seven Wigeon still present on 22 March, the odd Great Black-backed Gull, a Peregrine, and a dozen Tufted Duck on 27 March.
Today the weather was dire, but sitting in the car in the car park I saw my first Swallows of the year and my first House Martin of the year in with seven Sand Martins.
Sutton Bingham year list 2017 now at 80 species.
