A quick pre-work visit produced a total of seven Common Sandpipers on the northern causeway, a nice Spring count. Not a lot else other than a "new" singing Willow Warbler in the sallows in the corner of West Pool and another at the bottom of the car park. The highlight of the morning was a singing Sedge Warbler in vegetation below the car park. It was extremely vocal, singing pretty much constantly for the twenty minutes I spent trying to see it, which I finally managed!Sutton Bingham year list for 2021 now at 84 species.
