Sutton Bingham - Sun 15 Sep

A very quick visit mid-morning produced three Green Sandpiper and a Great White Egret at the southern end, but not much else. However, returning later in the day I found a moulting adult Shelduck which was a much welcome patch year tick. I first located it near the sleeper bridge before it flew south and settled on the mud at the far end.
Also today, a total of five Common Sandpiper around the site and two Snipe.
Sutton Bingham year list 2019 now at 111 species.
