Sutton Bingham - Wed 27 May

Not much at the reservoir over the past few days and if it hadn't been for a few Red Kites, four yesterday and three today, it would not warrant a blog posting. A Little Egret also seen a couple of times, a singing Reed Bunting and some newly fledged Chiffchaffs the only other birds of note.
Unfortunately it looks like the Reed Warbler that was singing near the bottom of the car park has gone, no sight or sound of it today. Looks like this is going to be the first year for as long as I can remember that this species is not going to breed on patch, a real shame.
