Sutton Bingham - Tue 4 Aug

Another morning visit and today produced a female-type Garganey (my feeling is it's a juvenile bird) on West Pool in the company of the assembled Mallards.
There were also two Common Sandpipers on West Pool whilst a further two were at the southern end along with just two Green Sandpipers. The first Teal of the autumn were back on site with five at the southern end where a couple of Mandarin were also seen.
A return visit in the evening resulted in no new birds but the Garganey was showing very well off the northern causeway.
